Power Pages sites can now start Power Automate flows from server logic

On 18 September 2026 Microsoft said Power Pages Server Logic can invoke Power Automate cloud flows. Server Logic is the site feature that runs business rules on the server rather than in the visitor's browser. The change extends existing Power Automate use on Power Pages so a website event can start the same cloud flow you already use for approvals, notifications, or connections to other systems. Microsoft notes Power Automate reaches more than 1,400 services and data sources. The post is a short product note. It does not spell out licensing, whether Premium connectors are required, or where the feature is available. Configuration is documented under Power Pages server objects for cloud flows.
Until now, a Power Pages site and a cloud flow often sat side by side. Makers could already use Power Automate with Pages in limited ways, but server-side site rules were a separate path. If a public form needed an approval, a Teams ping, or a SharePoint update, people commonly rebuilt that work on the site instead of calling the flow that already did it. The new handoff means a site event can start that existing cloud flow instead of a second integration. For this community that is useful only if you already own a Pages form or portal. It does not make SharePoint list triggers, Outlook, or Teams approvals any simpler. It also adds a failure surface: a quiet failed run can now start from a website, not only from a list item, so ownership, run history, and alerts matter more, not less.
Analysis
Treat this as a reuse check, not a reason to launch a website. If you already have a Power Pages form that duplicates an approval or notification your cloud flow already handles, open the server objects cloud flow docs and try calling that existing flow from a test site first, then confirm who owns the flow and who gets the failed-run alert.
