Microsoft moves Power Automate planning to one roadmap

Microsoft updated the 2026 Power Automate release plan on August 27 to say that release plans will stop being published from September. New Power Platform capability announcements will move to the AI at Work roadmap, while existing release plans remain as historical reference.
Flow makers often use the release plan as a quick way to check whether a feature is expected, shipped, or still only planned. That habit becomes less reliable once the announcement route changes, especially when you are deciding whether to wait for a feature or design a workaround. This is a discovery change, not a guarantee that every listed feature will arrive. The new roadmap should become part of your normal pre-build check, alongside current documentation and a test in your own environment.
