Power Automate gives desktop flows a visual chart view

Microsoft says a public preview of flow chart view for Power Automate desktop flows begins in July 2026. The node-based view shows branches, subflows and execution paths, while makers can switch back to the existing linear list.
Before this preview, desktop-flow makers had to read a long linear action list to understand branching logic, which makes reviews and handovers slower as automations grow. The chart view turns the same flow into a navigable map without replacing the linear editor. That gives teams a faster way to trace paths and explain an automation before they change it, although Microsoft labels the date as a release-plan estimate.
Analysis
Open one complex desktop flow and capture its current branch map. When the preview appears, compare how quickly a teammate can trace the same execution path in chart view.
