Power Automate adds portal restore for deleted flows

Microsoft’s 2026 release wave 1 plan says Power Automate will add portal-based recovery for accidentally deleted cloud flows in July 2026. Flow owners, co-owners, and environment admins will be able to restore deleted flows for 21 days without using the Power Platform Management connector, PowerShell, or support.
Before this, deleting the wrong flow could become an admin rescue job, especially if the maker did not know the Management connector or PowerShell route. That is a risky place for small teams where one person owns a business-critical automation. The new restore path makes recovery more visible inside the portal. It does not remove the need for ownership hygiene, but it gives makers and admins a clearer window to recover from a mistake before a deleted flow turns into a broken process.
Analysis
List the production flows that would hurt if deleted, then make sure each has a named co-owner. When the restore feature lands, add a simple 21-day recovery check to your flow handover notes.
