Microsoft adds Power Automate action that turns SharePoint form data into documents

A new action called Generate document from form entered preview. It takes values from a SharePoint form and places them into fields inside a DocGen template. The finished file is saved to a SharePoint library and the action returns its location and status. The feature works only with structured templates and form-driven inputs. It remains in preview and is limited to those specific scenarios.
Until now anyone who needed a contract, invoice or letter still copied numbers from a form into Word by hand or waited for someone else to do it. The new action removes that step inside an existing flow. Because the action lives in preview, its error messages, limits and template rules can change without notice. Flows that rely on it will need extra checks on run history and a fallback path until the feature reaches general availability.
Analysis
Pick the single document you or your team still creates manually every week and map its fields to a DocGen template this month. Run the action inside a test flow with real data, watch the run history for three consecutive days, and decide whether the preview risk is worth the saved copy-and-paste time.
