Teams opens agent access requests to blocked users

Teams opens agent access requests to blocked users

Microsoft’s July 15 Teams release adds a guided request path for people blocked from using an app or agent. Users receive status notifications while administrators review the request in Teams admin center.

When an agent is blocked, a champion often has to collect screenshots, chase the right owner, and explain the work case outside the product. That makes adoption demand invisible and gives managers little evidence for deciding which requests deserve a controlled trial. The new request path creates a visible queue, but it does not make every agent appropriate. It gives adoption leads a cleaner way to compare real use cases, approve a limited group, and keep a record of what was declined and why.

Analysis

Ask one blocked user to submit a request for the agent they need and capture the job they want it to do. Use that wording as the first entry in your adoption decision log.
