Teams now turns meeting recordings into narrated video summaries

Microsoft added 27 items to its 365 roadmap last week. Two of them affect daily meeting work. A new video recap feature creates narrated highlights from recorded Teams meetings. A resizable gallery view also rolled out. The recap tool launched immediately. The gallery change is now available to most tenants. Both updates require no extra licence beyond existing Teams and recording permissions.
Until now a meeting ended when the call did. Any actions lived in private notes, scattered chat messages, or the vague hope that someone would remember. The recording sat unopened in the meeting chat, another item that would never be reviewed. The narrated recap changes the default. A short, spoken summary now appears automatically. The actions are no longer invisible, yet they still have no fixed place in the task system most teams already use. The gap between content and follow-up just became more obvious.
Analysis
Stop letting the recap sit in the meeting chat. The day it appears, open it, pull the spoken actions into the same task list you already check each morning, and close the loop before the next meeting starts.
