Together mode was a pandemic-era attempt to make remote meetings feel more human. For most workers, though, Teams meetings now need reliability, clear speaker focus, and less hunting through view options. This change matters because it removes a familiar option and pushes users toward Gallery features such as pinning, spotlighting, and branded backgrounds. Teams champions will need to explain the replacement before people discover it in the middle of a meeting.
