Power BI mobile now respects org app audiences

Microsoft says the Power BI mobile apps added support for org app audiences in July 2026. Mobile users can now access the org app content they are entitled to based on the audiences configured for the app.
Before this, app audience design could work well on desktop but feel inconsistent once leaders or field users opened reports on a phone. Report builders still had to account for a weaker mobile experience when packaging content for different groups. Audience support on mobile makes org apps more credible as the single distribution route for role-based reporting. It also raises the bar for testing, because the person building the app needs to check the mobile audience experience, not just the desktop navigation.
Analysis
Open one high-use org app on mobile with two test accounts from different audiences. Confirm each account sees only the intended reports, links, and navigation items.
