Power Apps adds Fluent templates and bulk control updates

Microsoft’s September 17 Power Platform update adds six ready-to-use Fluent 2 screen templates for canvas apps and a bulk option for updating eligible controls on the current screen. The update can enable required modern-control settings and preserves undo and redo, but Microsoft warns that property names, enum values and behaviours may change.
Canvas makers previously had to assemble responsive screens or update eligible controls one at a time. The new templates and bulk update can shorten that work, especially for builders replacing older classic-control layouts. Bulk conversion is still a code change, not a cosmetic refresh. Formulas, validation and OnChange behaviour can shift, so the speed gain only holds when the maker tests the converted screen with real data and user paths before publishing.
Analysis
Duplicate a test app, add one Fluent 2 template and run the bulk control update on a single screen. Review changed formulas and test validation, reset and OnChange behaviour before touching the production app.
