Would a morning briefing help your inbox—or interrupt it? A New Outlook user reports Copilot offering both a morning summary and an end-of-day wrap-up.

Tony Redmond reports seeing New Outlook suggest a Copilot morning briefing and a nightly wrap-up. Both open Copilot with a prepared prompt that can be refined. In his mailbox, the wrap-up missed much of the activity he expected, so his account is useful first-hand evidence of the experience—not proof that all users see the same cards or get equally useful results.
For a busy Outlook user, a summary can help catch loose ends, but another unsolicited card may add noise to inbox triage. The quality of the result also depends on what Copilot can find in your mailbox and work context. Microsoft documents a per-account Copilot toggle in Outlook settings for hiding Copilot entry points. It is not yet verified that this setting suppresses these particular morning and evening offers, so the source author's inability to find a switch should not be presented as a universal lack of control.
Analysis
If the offers appear in your Outlook, decide whether the suggested prompt actually catches missed actions. Check Settings > Copilot for the per-account visibility option where available; verify its effect on these specific cards before changing your routine.
