June Power Platform update adds more AI work surfaces

Microsoft published its June 2026 Power Platform feature update on 11 June. The update includes Power Apps MCP server work for enterprise agents, Power Automate desktop flow improvements, advanced connector policies moving to general availability, and more inventory visibility across apps, flows and agents. Availability still depends on feature area, region and licensing.
Before this update, non-developer Power Apps builders already had to choose between canvas apps, model-driven apps, SharePoint lists, Dataverse, flows and Copilot-generated help. More AI surfaces do not remove the basic design and testing decisions. The June update gives admins and advanced makers more control points, but it does not fix delegation warnings, unclear data ownership, or formulas copied from examples. Builders still need a stable pattern they can test before adding new AI or agent features.
Analysis
Pick one app you maintain and make a two-column inventory: every data source it touches and every flow or connector it depends on. Do that before testing any new June feature.
