Power Apps removes preview Analytics tab from app details

Microsoft Message Center item MC1293476 says the preview Analytics experience in Power Apps reached end of support on 8 June 2026. The Analytics tab in App Details is being removed, so usage metrics no longer appear directly inside that app details view. Microsoft says performance, reliability, and session information remain available through Monitor, while tenant-wide usage remains available to Power Platform admins in the new Usage page.
Before this removal, a non-developer maker could open App Details and quickly show whether an app had real users, launches, sessions, errors, or performance problems. That mattered when the maker needed proof that their SharePoint-backed app was being adopted instead of quietly ignored. Now the evidence moves into surfaces that many citizen makers do not use day to day. Monitor is better for troubleshooting a specific app, and the admin Usage page is better for portfolio-level visibility, but the simple habit changes: makers need to know where to look before a manager asks whether the app is actually being used.
Analysis
Update your app handover notes so Monitor is the default place for performance, reliability, and session checks. If you report app adoption to a manager, ask your Power Platform admin for a recurring Usage page export or screenshot instead of relying on the old App Details tab.
