Microsoft raises Power Apps Premium prices from January 2027

Microsoft announced on 9 September 2026 that Power Apps Premium list pricing will rise on 1 January 2027. The standard plan moves from $20 to $22 per user per month, while the 2,000-seat minimum plan moves from $12 to $14; existing subscriptions keep their current price until the end of their subscription term.
Power Apps Premium was already the budget breakpoint for makers whose apps use Dataverse, SQL, premium connectors, custom connectors or an on-premises gateway. A prototype can appear inexpensive until it is shared, because the people running a premium app need suitable use rights—not only the person who built it. The $2 increase does not change which features require Premium, but it raises the cost of discovering the requirement late. For a team app, the data source, connector mix, connected flows and user count now need a licensing check before the design hardens or stakeholders treat the demo as ready to roll out.
