Microsoft lists Power Apps features planned through early 2026

Microsoft’s Learn site carries the Power Apps plan for 2025 release wave 2. It covers features aimed at general availability or continued rollout from October 2025 through March 2026. The page is the official schedule signal for canvas, Copilot, and related Power Apps work. Microsoft states delivery dates can change and some listed items may not ship as described. Access and timing still depend on region, tenant, and licensing. Prior and next wave plans sit alongside this one for comparison.
Before this kind of wave plan, many internal builders only learned about new controls, Copilot helpers, or data options when a blog post or Studio UI changed. That left SharePoint-backed trackers and approval apps stuck between half-finished demos and features that were not yet safe to depend on. What changed is not a single new formula or control in your tenant today. It is a dated checklist you can use to separate what is already solid enough for real users from what is still preview or target-only, so you stop redesigning a working gallery or form around something that may slip past your go-live date.
Analysis
Treat this as a trend to watch, not a green light to rebuild production apps around unreleased AI or canvas items. Open the 2025 wave 2 Power Apps planned-features page, note only items marked generally available for your next SharePoint list app, and keep anything still planned or in preview off the critical path until you can test it in your own environment.
