Microsoft cuts Copilot Business price by three dollars a month for three months

Microsoft 365 Copilot Business now costs $18 per user per month when paid yearly. The reduction from $21 applies only to new or renewing annual subscriptions placed between July 1 and September 30 2026. After September 30 the price returns to $21. The change affects only the Business plan and does not alter any other licensing terms or data access rules.
Before this change, cost was the visible objection when teams considered wider rollout. The lower price removes that surface objection for the next quarter. What actually changed is the length of the runway. Teams now have three months at the reduced rate to prove whether Copilot can produce consistent, reviewable output inside their existing Microsoft 365 work or whether it will remain an occasional experiment.
Analysis
Lock the discounted rate only if you can name one recurring task, write the exact prompt pattern, and publish the review checklist before October. If that single workflow is not documented by the end of the discount window, let the price rise and keep the licences you already have.
