Gumroad raises bundle download ZIP limit to 8 GB

On 27 September 2026, Gumroad raised the combined ZIP limit for bundle downloads from 500 MB to 8 GB. The change applies to bundles; ordinary product, instalment and folder archives keep the 500 MB limit.
Previously, a Gumroad bundle above 500 MB could not produce one combined ZIP, so buyers had to download its included products separately. That added friction for founders selling collections of courses, templates or asset packs as a bundle. Now qualifying bundles can provide one combined download up to 8 GB, which makes delivery simpler without changing the underlying product files. This is not a general 8 GB limit for every Gumroad course or product, so the benefit depends on how the offer is configured.
Analysis
Check whether the offer is configured as a Gumroad bundle before repackaging anything. If it is over 500 MB, test the combined buyer download and extraction before relying on the new limit.
