Gemini app turns questions into interactive simulations in chat

On 24 August 2026, Google said the Gemini app can turn questions and complex topics into custom interactive visualizations inside the chat itself. Until now, answers were mostly text with static diagrams. The new responses are meant to be functional simulations users can explore while they stay in the conversation. The change is framed for the Gemini app chat experience. Exact plan and region availability still need to be checked in the product.
When managers needed to grasp a process, trade-off, or system before briefing a team, AI usually handed back paragraphs and fixed pictures. That forced another round of prompting, screenshotting, and manual translation into a brief someone else could trust. Interactive models change the first pass: you can poke at relationships in chat instead of only reading about them. The catch is that a clearer picture is still not a repeatable workflow. Without a human review step, the simulation can feel authoritative while the underlying assumptions stay unstated and hard to hand off.

Treat this as a comprehension aid to test, not a new operating system for the team. Pick one recurring topic you still re-explain from scratch, generate the interactive model once, then write down the levers, assumptions, and quality checks in your usual briefing format so the next person does not need the demo to run the work safely.
