Experience Insights adds action tracking to adoption reports

Microsoft’s Experience Insights dashboard documentation, last updated on 12 June 2026, describes an Actions area for tracking adoption work inside the Microsoft 365 admin center. Admins can add actions, import them from CSV, export them, and see action markers against usage, feedback, Net Promoter Score, and help-content trends.
Adoption reports often show usage going up or down without recording what the team actually did. That makes it hard to explain whether a training session, comms push, license change, or support intervention changed user behaviour. The Actions feature gives reporting owners a simple timeline layer they can reuse. It does not replace a proper Power BI model, but it gives Microsoft 365 teams a clearer way to connect interventions with usage and sentiment signals.
Analysis
If you report on Microsoft 365 adoption, start logging actions with dates, products, and notes. Use the exported action list as a small dimension table alongside usage or sentiment trends.
