Copilot mobile sends prompts for work waiting on you

Microsoft says its Microsoft 365 Copilot mobile app now sends licensed users prompts such as “Your Day at a Glance” and “Items waiting for you” on iOS and Android. Opening a notification takes the user to the corresponding Copilot response in the mobile app.
Knowledge workers usually discover urgent work by opening several separate apps and scanning for what changed. A single catch-up prompt may reduce that switching, but it is only useful if the items it surfaces are relevant and the reader can still judge what deserves attention. This is a licensed Copilot feature, not a replacement for task ownership or notification hygiene. Teams that already suffer from noisy alerts should test whether the prompt improves triage before treating it as another channel everyone must watch.
Analysis
If your team has Microsoft 365 Copilot licences, ask two volunteers to try the mobile prompts for one week. Compare the items surfaced with their normal Outlook and Teams triage before encouraging wider use.
