Copilot chat history filters by current experience
Microsoft says Copilot Chat history will be scoped to the current Copilot Chat endpoint. Users will still have an All chats view, and the roadmap item lists general availability for June 2026.
As Copilot appears in more places, users can struggle to understand where a past conversation lives and which context it belonged to. Filtering chat history by experience should make Copilot feel less cluttered and reduce accidental context switching. It may also help champions explain Copilot entry points more clearly during adoption training.
Analysis
Update Copilot enablement material so screenshots and guidance match the new history behaviour. Show users where to find All chats when they need to recover a conversation from another Copilot experience.
