Copilot can watermark generated audio and video content

Microsoft 365 Copilot release notes list an option to add watermarks to AI-generated or AI-altered video and audio across supported platforms. Microsoft says Copilot features use gradual rollout, so availability can differ by tenant and channel.
Teams are starting to share AI-assisted media before they have a consistent way to signal what has been generated or materially changed. A watermark can support transparency, but it does not decide whether the content is accurate, approved or suitable for the audience.\n\nFor adoption leads, this is a prompt to connect product controls with a plain working agreement. People need to know when disclosure is expected and who still owns the final judgement.
