ChatGPT Business adds Premium seats for heavier work

OpenAI announced Premium seats for ChatGPT Business on 10 August. Premium seats offer five times the Standard-seat usage, remove the five-hour usage limit and can sit beside Standard seats in the same workspace; OpenAI lists them at $125 per user per month or $100 annually, while Standard seats remain $25 monthly or $20 annually.
A single seat type forces a false choice between paying more for everyone and letting the few people doing long analysis, coding or operational work repeatedly hit limits. Mixed seats make capacity a role-and-workload decision inside one workspace rather than a reason to split company work across separate subscriptions. The higher allowance does not make a task suitable for unattended AI work. It makes it more important to identify the small set of roles with a repeatable job, clear inputs and an owner who can check quality before more usage simply creates more output to review.
Analysis
List the two or three people who regularly hit ChatGPT Business limits, name the repeatable job behind that usage, and compare one Premium seat against the review time and shared-credit cost before the 20 August promotion ends.
