Open-source AI agent learns skills from its own experience

Nous Research released Hermes Agent, an open-source AI system that creates and improves skills based on its own interactions and past conversations. It runs on $5 VPS, serverless cloud, or local hardware, supports 200+ language models via OpenRouter, and integrates with Telegram, Discord, Slack, and subagents. Prior agents required manual updates for new scenarios, making them fragile; Hermes enables self-maintaining automation on cheap hardware.
