Microsoft released Power BI Desktop version 2.152.1279.0 with March 2026 updates. It aligns Desktop features like AI tools, reporting enhancements, and data modeling with the Power BI Service. Previously, Desktop lagged by a month, forcing tool switches or workarounds for report publishing and DAX work.
