Microsoft releases JDBC driver linking Power BI to Fabric data

Microsoft's JDBC driver for Fabric Data Engineering is generally available. It connects Power BI and Tableau to Spark SQL workloads via Livy APIs, handling Lakehouse data and custom Spark settings with enterprise security. This eliminates manual exports and custom scripts for live data access, enabling automatic report refreshes with fresh Spark-processed data in seconds.
