Microsoft's public preview embeds Model-driven Power Apps into Microsoft 365 Copilot in Word, Excel, and Teams. Users query, update, and create records conversationally with field prediction. Canvas apps on SharePoint are excluded, requiring Power Apps Premium and Dataverse. This shifts citizen developers from free standalone apps to premium AI-integrated solutions.
