Microsoft makes AI agent governance platform generally available

Microsoft Agent 365 hits general availability, unifying governance for prebuilt Copilot agents, custom Copilot Studio builds, and third-party tools from Zendesk and others. Entra, Defender, and Intune enable data access controls and monitoring, easing IT oversight that previously confined agents to pilots. Mid-sized teams must still configure policies and test to drive adoption beyond repetitive tasks.
