Microsoft allows custom Copilot agents to read massive SharePoint files

Microsoft updated Copilot Studio on April 3 to allow custom agents to process SharePoint files up to 200MB via semantic index. This overcomes prior size limits that forced manual document splitting. Requires at least one paid Microsoft 365 Copilot license per company. Enables bots to handle dense policy manuals or project archives, reducing manual searches.
